About Course

This module introduces the foundational understanding of trauma within high-risk and emotionally demanding environments. Participants are guided to recognise the nature of repeated exposure to distressing events and to understand how such exposure affects both the human mind and body.

The module focuses not only on defining trauma, but also on enabling participants to identify how trauma develops over time—often unnoticed—and how it begins to influence behaviour, emotions, and relationships.

Participants are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences in a safe and structured manner, while building awareness that will serve as the foundation for all subsequent modules.
